I came up to Omaha to visit my son, and I'm from Texas. This restaurant was outside our hotel and had to try it. We had breakfast here today, and I will tell you it was amazing. Now, this is coming from someone who is half Hispanic, and my … More

Returned recently for lunch.
We sat at the bar and was served by Julio. Service was excellent.
Did the quesadilla and burger with fries. Both were great for the price.
Previous review:
Newly opened, primos has a clean modern dining ambiance with solid food offerings. Along with their dining room, they have an absolutely beautiful patio, a bar area inside and another sitting area inside that I'm not sure what it is, but it looks like a cool place to hang out? I noticed a dart board there.
Free chips and salsa is offered at the beginning of the meal, (I think for lunch and dinner)
If you need a knife, ask for one? It isn't packaged with in the napkin but you just have to ask and they will bring it out.
No decaf coffee yet.
The food review is mostly for the latest breakfast that we went to. That just opened up for breakfast today.
I recommend the Benedict. 5 stars
The roja hollandaise sauce was on point.
The flavor on the chilaquiles really grew on me. The sauce was a little acidic at first, but as I ate it the more I liked it. It's on my top to order. They do drown them in sauce. So if you're looking for something crispy it's not really that crispy.
The omelet was a solid choice. Between the guac and bacon versus the primos, I choose the primos, but I am a saucy person. Both are good just I have a preference.
The service at the council bluffs location was very professional and well-rounded whereas the center and 60th location you can tell they are still training. As they are new that's to be expected. Service was generally very friendly on the few occasions I dined in.

Thank you Jessica for your outstanding service. We throughly enjoyed the lunch enchiladas and pork tamale. The tamale was most and tasty. The enchilada was stuffed with yummy beef and top with the best sauce. The atmosphere was fun and comfortable. What a great place to gather with friends!

I went to Primo's for dinner during a week night and it was extremely disappointing. I had heard very good things and was excited to try this restaurant. I got there around 6pm it took over 10 minutes before our server stopped by. He took our drink order but never gave us menus or silverware. It wasn't until 6:30pm that we got our margaritas (which were mostly syrup and a little tequila). During this time we kept trying to flag down the server for menus but he either didn't see us or avoided eye contact. We ended up looking at the menu on our phones via their website to figure out what to order. Our server came back to our table around 6:50pm and we placed our order, again we'd only seen the server twice during that hour and still weren't given menus or the waters we'd ordered. The food came out around 7:05pm and again I was severely disappointed. I ordered the beef chimichanga, the beef was dry and unseasoned cocooned in a bed of equally unseasoned rice. I'll also mention we still didn't have silverware and had to flag down a passing food runner for forks and napkins to eat with.
Our group finished eating around 7:12pm, and we planned on order another margarita. Our server came back to our table around 7:20 and we decided we'd just take our checks. Our server said he'd get the checks printed out and be right back. The server never came back to our table, we would see him running drinks and try to flag him down but were unable to get his attention. Finally at 7:55pm another server came to our table with our receipts and we were able to check out.
Overall: Food was exceedingly mediocre. Service was terrible, inattentive, and slow.

Excellent! Very friendly server, food was amazing and it's a clean, festive place. Bar is quite comfy. Outdoor patio. Two of us ordered the Emilio burrito, mild, and we loved it. Tomatillo sauce was delicious. If unsure about spice, you can get the sauce on the side. Third person ordered a hamburger with onion rings, and it was really good--juicy and flavorful. They serve Pepsi products, plus Dr Pepper.

We tried Primos today for lunch and whew… where do I even start 😅
First off, we walk in and almost every table looked like it survived a food fight. We were told to just seat ourselves, so we got to play the fun game of “which dirty table is the least dirty.”
Then at 12 PM they were STILL only serving breakfast. We came for lunch, not scrambled eggs and regret.
I ordered biscuits and gravy because honestly… how do you even mess up biscuits and gravy? Apparently Primos took that as a personal challenge. I ate maybe half of one biscuit and was done. It was honestly disgusting. My three kids barely touched their food either. Everything tasted so bad we literally shoved all the plates into one box and brought it home for the dogs. Even they looked skeptical.
Then my husband ordered pancakes and I asked for strawberries on top. The waitress told us it would cost extra, which is fine, whatever. But I had to ask her MULTIPLE times because she kept forgetting. When they finally came out, it was this tiny little cup with basically half a strawberry in it 😂 Like ma’am… be serious.
$150 for 5 people to leave hungry, annoyed, and feeding the food to our dogs is absolutely wild. Overpriced, nasty food, dirty tables, and honestly just not worth it.

Iv been eating at Primos for the last 6 years, We had a reservation for 15 yesterday between 6 and 615, we had somebody get there at 545 a touch early.. She walks in and the Manager absolutely loses is mind on the host. Dont need to repeat what was said... On to our food, It was very quick which we did appreciate! However, I get the Chicken enchiladas literally every time I come in, They were absolutely terrible! I let the waiter know I wasn't pleased at all and nothing was done, It moved over to ignoring me on a refill while all 14 people got them consistently.. I was a little pissed off not going to lie... We brought over $500 worth of buisness and over all kinda got treated like shit for it.... Not real sure we will be back to this location.

Strongly suggest enjoying their beautiful patio whenever you can. Service was impeccable, friendly and attentive. Complimentary chips were thin and crispy and the salsa was perfect restaurant style. Chicken in the fajitas was well seasoned and juicy and the veggies cooked perfect. Definitely need more than 3 tortillas to finish that platter. The quesabirria tacos were to die for. Maybe the best refried beans I have had in a while. And prices were more than fair! Will be back for sure!

This is a nice, affordable, and delicious spot to grab some Mexican food. The El Matador and Snake Bite cocktails were surprisingly good. The chimichanga is the size of a full-sized Class A RV - just gigantic! The fajitas were sizzling hot. This is definitely a worthwhile place to try. More
